The Blue Dog team were fortunate to have a number of posters displayed at the recent World accident Prevention Conference. Ray Butcher is pictured with one of the posters stressing the fact that, despite popular belifs, only 20% of bites occur in public places. The vast majority occur within the home by the family dog – young children being the group at greatest risk.

Prevention requires better education of children and their parents to identify and avoid risk situations. So the Blue Dog message is relavent to all families with children.
